Dreams DO Come True

OMG!!! There's this new TV show that's coming out in September called The Next Star. The Next Star is like Canadian Idol for kids. It's CANADIAN. I was totally going to audition today because singing is my LIFE. But Mom said she wouldn't like, take me to Vancouver to audition. After all my practice! (Actually, if truth be told, I only had like 3 days to practice because I decided I would audition at the last minute.) But here's the good part. I will love singing my entire life most likely. So Mom said she'd get me vocal lessons to prepare for the next season of The Next Star. She said she'd take me next season! Sure your thinking "what if there's no next season?" Well the odds are on my side. Getting on TV  to sing is like a dream come true for me! But it was quite a blow to realize that I wasn't going this year, and it took a lot of self control to stop myself from begging Mom to take me. Still, I can't WAIT for the next season. Mothers Day ( and more )

So this weekend we went to Ocean Shores Washington U.S.A @ the Quality inn. It took 3 hrs just to cross the border! So it took another 2 hrs to get to Ocean Shores. And THEN Mom thought we were @ the Comfort inn. But noooo. We were @ the Quality hotel. Good thing too. They had a mini-golf course in the court yard. And me and my brother made up a game. I've decided to call it Chance. Maybe I'll explain it another time. There was also a pool in the inn. And a spa ( we didn't go there though ). And the ocean. I can't begin to describe it. AMAZING. That's a start. I'll be posting a lot of pictures from Washington now. Well today was Mothers Day. We didn't have a cake. But we gave her lots of presents. I gave her a plant pot I painted @ school. And an illustration I drew. And I wrote a poem 4 her. I also recited a poem I wrote last year. My brother gave her a mug that says IF THERE'S NO CHOCOLATE IN HEAVEN, I'M NOT GOING. True that. True that.

Softball/ Baseball

Bonjour! You might be wondering why I put THIS picture on my blog of all the pictures I could have put on. Well, I will explain. I play softball ( which is like girl baseball ) and to tell the truth, the ball isn't all that soft! I play on lot's of different fields but I think this one is for pros.

To tell the truth, I stole it from my dad's file. My softball team is the nicest in the world! Unlike my SOCCER team. Enjoy this photo of some unknown field.

Weird Attacks!

Okay, so me and my friends go CRAZY sometimes. We have a name for it. We call these little bursts of insanity WEIRD ATTACKS. You know, heart attacks, asthma attacks, WEIRD attacks. This is me feeling like a chipmunk. CRAZY!

The Litter Critters

Hola! Okay, so I've already told you about the main issue today. ( If you haven't heard, read the post entitled Honesty Still a Virtue?) And after I left them all stumped I  went home and read about the super-human genius called Matilda. I read about her taking revenge on her parents. Not the best book to read while I'm in my bad mood, right? Anyway, afterward, I had supper with Anna outside, and we decided we'd give it another go. Then Delisa popped out of nowhere, and we decided to let her come along too. And we went to our fort and looked everywhere, ( And we didn't have to look far!) for stray litter. And we picked it all up. And I think we were all satisfied with the evenings work in the end. Me, I'm glad it all worked out. I was lonely by myself. So I guess that's it. Adios!

Honesty Still a Virtue?

Yo all! I suppose I've told you already, but me and my friend Anna have a fort in the woods. Well, last week, we went back and realized all kinds of things. Like the fort actually has a part two and three. And we also noticed that it was positively covered in litter. It was DISGUSTING! So we promised that every week we'd come to visit our fort. And we called it FORT MEGANNA because we found it. Well today Anna was busy babysitting some neighbours. And she said we would go at 4:00. Well I minded my own buisness for a while. Then I looked at the clock and it was 10 after. So I invited Anna to come now. But some other kids wanted to come too, so we let them tag along. But they wouldn't leave us alone! So when we went to look at the fort again, they snuck up behind us and claimed that it was THEIR fort! I was so upset! Actually, it was only one of them and I finally told him what he was and what he deserved to hear: that he was an idiot. Then I just left them all standing there and stomped off. That's right. I have anger problems.
