Dreams DO Come True

OMG!!! There's this new TV show that's coming out in September called The Next Star. The Next Star is like Canadian Idol for kids. It's CANADIAN. I was totally going to audition today because singing is my LIFE. But Mom said she wouldn't like, take me to Vancouver to audition. After all my practice! (Actually, if truth be told, I only had like 3 days to practice because I decided I would audition at the last minute.) But here's the good part. I will love singing my entire life most likely. So Mom said she'd get me vocal lessons to prepare for the next season of The Next Star. She said she'd take me next season! Sure your thinking "what if there's no next season?" Well the odds are on my side. Getting on TV  to sing is like a dream come true for me! But it was quite a blow to realize that I wasn't going this year, and it took a lot of self control to stop myself from begging Mom to take me. Still, I can't WAIT for the next season.
