The Speech Competition (and more)

A few days ago, the french portion of my school had a french public speaking competition. And guess who was representing the 4th grade portion of my class? That's right. It was me! Parker was representing the 5th grade portion of my class. It was kind of embarrassing, because my parents say I like him.(F.Y.I, I DON'T!) And I don't mean the kind of like as in like him as a friend. I mean the kind of like as in I'm crushing on him. (again, I DON'T!) But I don't blame them for thinking that. It's freaky, but I'm with him in almost everything!(Not that I'm doing it ON PURPOSE.) We even had almost the same subject! After all, we got to choose our own subject. Mine was about marine life, (I know. Big subject huh?) and his was about coral reefs! Sadly, we both lost the public speaking competition. In my grade, Vanessa Washington won, and in his, Susie Parks won. It's so sad. I think I should have won. ( no offence to the winners though) Anyway, bye for now!

this is my 1st blog

Hello all! Welcome to my 1st blog. (I'm excited!) You know, just so you know what kind of a person I am, I'll tell you about myself. Well, I'm a music FREAK. I'm not afraid to admit it. I'll tell you why. I play piano and learning to play the recorder. I love writing songs, whether it's actually musical notes, or just words! In fact, I have a songwriting duotang. And that's just the start. I also LOVE to sing. I can sing along to almost everything! (and, to tell the truth, I do. Even with headphones on!) And someday, I dream of being a singer, or at least a songwriter! I also LOVE to read. It's the best thing to do to entertain yourself! I think because I read so much, I've learned to be very imaginative. Me and my friend even have a fort IN THE FOREST! And i'm sure you'll learn more about me as my blog grows. Bye for now!
